Green Homes Grant to be based on EPC Recommendations

Following the chancellors -Rishi Sunak announcements, Homeowners and Landlords will be eligible for vouchers worth up to £5,000 towards the cost of energy efficient home improvements. The grant will cover at least two thirds of the cost up to £5,000 but for lower income households vouchers up to £10,000 will be available. Homeowners will be able to use the money for the following measures; Loft Insulation, Wall and Floor Insulation, New Boilers, Heat Pumps, Double Glazing Windows and Doors & Low Energy Lighting.
